It means Top Lid Up Draft Natural Draft.
This stove does exactely the same as this others, if not even better, and without a fan to a fraction of the costs.
The Peko Pe won a price in Oregon August 2009 for the most clean burning and efficient stove, among several others.
I would advice Obama and the USA to look to Norway.
