Madam, Sir,

As you know, the Handwashing World Day, launched by UNICEF, was held on October 15th in more than 100 countries worldwide. It was an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of carrying active promotion of handwashing in Africa.

It is now recognized that strict hand hygiene is the most effective and efficient way to fight against many diseases such as diarrhea.

Aware of this issue, our organisation, has developed an appropriate action in respond to this challenge, in terms of public health. The goal is to create a behavior change in the population.

The communication strategy we propose here is called HANDINET Visiodev. It is based on the use of innovative didactic tools very simple to implement. The aim is to support the sanitary prevention policy conducted by UNICEF, by promoting handwashing in an original way.

But how do we do to wash hands properly with soap? The educational tools HANDINET are designed to facilitate self-learning by the beneficiaries themselves, meeting by the same way the requirements of the WHO (World Health Organization).

Our communication approach is based on the use of a visual innovating tool, in order to make the message accessible to everyone (youth, illiterate adults,..). For your information, please note that this material was been awarded at the D-MADE international competition, organised by the World Bank. (See web link: http://wbi.worldbank.org/wbdm/idea/dev-kit-% E2% 80% 9Cvisiodev% E2% 80% 9D)

If our project looks interesting to you and your partners, please let us know. We are looking forward to work with your organisation.

Regards.
